Very hilly, scenic course. Reasonably priced, frirndly people, clean facilities and the course itself was in great shape. Will be playing again 5/8.

I was with a group for a bachelor trip that went to this course on May 23rd. Course was fine, but they charged 2 of the guys in our party a $60 “ride along fee” each, even though neither had clubs or have ever golfed in their life. I called back last weekend and was told that ride along fees are only $5 for 9 holes or $10 for the full 18. They also had multiple rangers out, so they were fully aware the two never actually golfed or had any intentions of golfing. Totally ripped them off.

I have played golf here several times, with friends, going on two years and have never had a bad experience. ( Did lose a club cover today lol) This course is well groomed, and not too difficult depending on age and handicap. The staff are always friendly and courteous, including the groundskeepers. Keep up the outstanding work! Your hard work and dedication is recognized!

Hickory Sticks GC has very beautiful views throughout the course. The course is very hilly but I figured with a cart it wouldn't matter but it does for a senior citizen. The cart gets you up and down all the hills just fine but where you park to tee and park around most greens is an uphill walk which can wear down an old guy. Well maintained with very nice greens. All and all I'll be back but just be aware that there is lots of uphill walking to do.

This was my first time golfing here and it is absolutely amazing. The drive up is through country roads that are beautiful. You see farms along the way, a creek off to the side and roads surrounded by trees. It's the type of drive that makes you want to move to the country. When I arrived I made my way to the clubhouse where I was greeted by some of the nicest, friendliest people I've ever had the pleasure of meeting. Just down to earth people who clearly love what they do. My tee time was for 8:10 but they said I could go ahead and tee off if I wanted since it was slow at the moment. Every hole feels like a serene escape, like a postcard picture of a place you've always wanted to go. I was by my self so I played faster than those in front of me but every time I caught up to people I was met with smiles and a friendly gesture to go ahead and play through. The entire course plays magically. It's as if it was specifically designed with every type of player in mind. The quietness though, it's unparalleled. I've never been on a golf course so quiet in my life. The entire course puts you at ease with yourself, with nature and with your game. I played my best round ever simply because I felt so calm from my surroundings. Every aspect of this course is perfection. I would pay to just drive a cart around the course and soak it all in. It's not just a round of golf but an experience that I encourage any golf lover to partake in. It makes you love the game of golf. I can say with all the confidence in me that I will not only be back but that I will make this my go to course from here on out. If you're looking for a great golf course then look no further.
