Tallgrass, a Perry Dye design, was long one of Wichitas premier semi private courses. Rolling terrain, penal bunkering, and tall native grasses define the aesthetic. The layout emphasized placement over raw distance, especially on the par 4s. While the club later rebranded as Tallgrass Golf Club, it remains well known in Wichita golf lore. Full practice facilities were part of the property. Conditioning was praised for bentgrass greens and thick rough.

Tallgrass Country Club is a top-tier venue with a beautiful setting and a great team. We brought in one of our custom dance floor rentals, and it completely transformed the space—creating the perfect focal point and keeping the dance floor packed all night. Everything flowed smoothly, and the event turned out amazing. — Wichita DJ Professionals Total Music Domination | DJ • Photo Booth • Event Experience

This was a great place for our wedding and reception. Carla the event coordinator was amazing and so helpful! We got to decorate the place and they had a lot of items available (they had the arch and the backdrop and the fairy lights) and it was beautiful! This place is reasonably priced and we had a wonderful time! Go talk to Carla, she was amazing and she'll help all your wedding dreams come true!

The revamped gym has everything you need and the course is the best layout in Wichita. Recently bought by Greatlife, and they are making improvements all over the place.

We recently had an event at Tallgrass Country Club and even though I underestimated the number of people who would attend, the staff was very attentive to each and every one of us. The food was very good and the room designated for our event was perfect! I will have this event here every year but perhaps count RSVPs a little better next time. THANK YOU to the Tallgrass Staff for a fantastic experience!
