For a small town golf course the family and I have a great time out there! It definitely is a nice course to hone in your skills. Definitely will be playing there more often.

We started golfing at 10:30 on a Friday and had the mower following us for the front 9 holes which completely ruined them. Then on the back 9 we had the sprinklers turn on which was about 2 P.M. Who has sprinklers running then. The greens also had a ton of dead spots and the tee boxes had huge divots in them.

The course is in “fair” shape. I say this because at most of the greens there is a lot of dead areas due to poor care of those same greens. Additionally the “rough” areas have a large amount of plain dirt. NO GRASS. When you consider the 30% price increase in dues at the beginning of this year they should have plenty of money to improve this course. Currently there are some LONG overdue upgrades to two tee boxes. Hopefully they will continue the upgrades, this “could” be a fantastic little course. Just needs consistent care

Course was in OK shape, some pretty rough spots on the fairways and greens. Local pace of play is VERY slow. I was not asked to play through by the first foursome in front of me for three holes, so I just skipped a hole and kept playing. Next foursome was so involved in slowly looking for lost balls they never even noticed me standing on the tee for 10 minutes. I gave up and went home.

My friend and I both ordered chicken fried steaks because I recommended it whenever I ate them before I know they were great however this night they were terrible the gravy that goes on top was like plaster and the onion rings tasted like fish not sure if we're going back there or not it used to be a great place to go
