A private nine on the north side of town, McPherson CC is compact and walkable, ideal for working on accuracy and scoring. The holes play through a peaceful, lightly treed property with greens that tilt just enough to test pace control. Without a formal range, the warm up tends to be a few putts and a long exhale. Local breezes can push tee balls off line, especially on exposed holes. Its a friendly members course where par is earned with placement rather than power.

I have had the pleasure of playing here a few times. The staff is always very welcoming and friendly. It’s a 9 hole course with with 2 different tee positions to make it 18. Course is in good shape greens included. Greens are probably some of the most challenging I have played so far. They are fast beware. Overall I always look forward to coming back here.
