An old school, sand green nine tucked inside a gated lakeside community, Lake of the Forest is a time capsule of early Midwestern golf. At just over 3,300 yards its playable for all, but the sandy, oiled putting surfaces and tight lies demand deft touch. The tree lined corridors and lake vistas give it charm that outweighs the modest length. Conditioning is intentionally simple to preserve the throwback feel. Its a rare chance to experience how golf played a century ago, right down to the way putts roll on sand.

Went to an event here that was catered by A Thyme For Lime. The place is beautiful, but the food was AMAZING! Highly recommend!

I went to a wedding here and it was a beautiful location and the drinks they had were great and the staff was very nice and friendly.

Great place for outdoor wedding, weather permitting. Smoked meat was delicious. Sides were on par for wedding reception food.

Private lake clubhouse for use by residents. There is an elevated stage for performances or presentations. Dressing rooms upstairs. Tables and chairs are available along with a full kitchen. Smoking patio. Plenty of parking. Wheelchair accessible. Great view overlooking the lake.

Awesome venue! I do DJ work and it's neat to be able to get on a real stage. Something to keep in mind is that there is one bathroom on the main floor. Upstairs has 2. The kitchen is awesome for any catering needs. The bar location is right off the main room so being able to hear drink orders is something bartenders will love. All in all a great place!
