Description

Belleville's 9 hole loop sits on gently rolling ground with a mix of short par 4s and a couple of beefy two shotters that play longer into the wind. Greens are modestly sized and reward approaches from the fairway more than heroic recoveries. The bunkering is simple and sparing, keeping the focus on placement and short game touch. With alternate tees, the back nine pass changes the rhythm just enough to stay fresh. It's a straightforward, friendly walk that suits casual rounds and league play.

Had a kid's birthday party at the bowling alley that my daughter was invited to, so while she was bowling I decided to check out the course. Super nice course and equally nice people! I went on a Saturday afternoon, and many members were there watching football games and enjoying the clubhouse. I asked for general information and if the course was open to the public, and had a great interaction! I will be back to play again. A nice course backed by very welcoming members.

Great course for a small town ! Reasonable green fees ($20 for 18 holes) during the week. You can pay fees at the box if the club is not open. Golf carts available for rent & restroom on the course.

Set up there for a birthday party - providing DJ music and food/snacks. Our birthday party was promoted as if the club was putting the party on instead of Candikorn - no mention of us providing it all - for free at that. Also, the bartender there was extremely rude and condescending - yelled at us about how we were moving in our equipment, moved our equipment himself after we set some up and weren't in the building at the time - then when we put it back, he started yelling and arguing with us about that (we were moving in and setting up the exact same way we had the previous two times we worked there).. we set up our lights for the dance and then he told patrons they couldn't have the house lights turned down. He provided us with the incorrect wifi password even after asking twice to make sure it was correct. We have never had this trouble at the Club prior to whoever the Scott bartender is. Several people that came to dance, etc. left early because of his attitude and slow/poor service. Disappointing and frustrating how someone can turn a place that used to be fun to work in into something so negative. We won't be providing direct services for the Club in the future - whether we are donating or getting paid. **Response to Club reply: The lights weren't asked to be dimmed, they were asked to be turned down/off. Which the last two times there, that was an option and did happen. You did provide me with an incorrect wifi password. I approached you with what was provided and asked if a number or letter was missing. You read it back to me and told me it was correct. After getting the password from someone else's phone - it was fixed because I obtained the missing number that you had left off of the paper you gave me. I can provide a screenshot of that if you'd like as proof - but that would be putting the Club's pw out for the public. It had nothing to do with the wifi capability - as I've used it before without issue..when given the correct password. The other times I set up my equipment inside the bar, there was plenty of room to get into the storeroom - as myself and the other bartender did quite easily. Also, the club is a private club - most likely exempt from complying with ADA regulations unless an open to the public event is taking place - which this was not. Aside from the fact that elevators aren't used for emergencies and in case of a fire - so there's that. I don't choose to be negative - I choose not to continue to deal with it.
