Staff is amazing. Best lunch in town. If you have young kids it’s an amazing investment. The pool and the year round activities are so well done. And you can’t beat the “Club Cone” for lunch. Just ask for it. Should have joined sooner.

12/25: nice place and delightful dining experience. I've lived in Des Moines since 1970 and this is the first time I've ever been to the club.

I held my wedding cocktail hour and reception at DMGCC and it was one of the most flawless nights I’ve ever experienced! The event director, Samantha Richards, is a superstar. She is on top of everything, knows all of the best vendors, and she is WELL known by all of them. I trusted Samantha with a lot, and felt like she had it all under control. The space was gorgeous, getting ready with hair and makeup and getting dressed in the lounge was fabulous. They really are a well-oiled machine when it comes to big events. I had the best time planning and celebrating here. The only issues we had were some missing staff towards the end of our night. We were told people would help us pack up things into our cars. But when the end of the night came, nobody was really around and we had to snoop into the kitchen to find someone. Little bumps here and there, but I was honestly over the moon with how everything went. Thanks to Samantha and her crew!

My husband, both of my kids and I absolutely love this place. It has such a scenic atmosphere. All the employees are kind and it's kept well maintained. I wish I knew the name of the gal who walked by and picked up my daughter's water bottle as she dropped it while having a moment and soothed her swiftly and brought a smile back to her face while demonstrating complete professionalism. Thankyou all for making this place so special.

Des Moines Golf and Country Club is absolutely top-notch in every way. The courses are beautifully maintained and challenging, with stunning scenery throughout. The clubhouse, pool, and fitness facilities are all first class, and the staff consistently goes above and beyond to provide friendly, professional service. Whether golfing, dining, or attending events, the experience is always outstanding. One of the best places in the area for both members and guests—highly recommend!
