Fun to play. Poor fairways. Greens are good. The fringe is great. The course could use more attention. But the course is great for practice hitting straight so if u miss your shot, most of the time, you can find the ball.

Great small town course with friendly people. With a new sprinkler system installed during the spring of 2023, the playing experience has vastly improved. Update spring 2024: The seeding has taken effect, and the fairways are beautiful. The greens are the best that I've seen here. Excellent job, Sloan!

I witnessed a group of guys who I saw bought beers for the course and once they got done went in to have a beer and was told by the bartender “I think you guys had enough”... honestly I was mind blown. From what I could see these gentlemen were completely fine. For a club house struggling to keep business you’re going to turn away paying customers. I always loved golfing this course and will most likely not golf here again... TERRIBLE!

Needs work. Thee Goat Ranch of Golf Courses. Go to Anthon "another town" and smash your balls. The only thing great to come out of Sloan, IA is Brady Worrell and the train tracks heading out of town. Good Luck
