Kept in good playing condition, but greens are a bit small on average, and coned...some tee boxes could use some improvements..otherwise a decent 9-hole rural course..

It's a really short course, only 1 par 5 and that is only 425 yards, but it is a challenging course. Lots of tree lined, narrow gateways. Greens are small and relatively fast. The course is well taken care of.

This 9 hole course was so fun!!! There is a driving range adjacent, and a practice green. The Hills is appropriate- hilly and skinny fairways. So many fun features throughout. Bridges, fountains, stones, flower beds, etc. Meticulously taken care of. It was only $20 for a round of golf and 1/2 of a cart. So reasonable. Clean efficient club house with carts available to rent, snacks, beverages, golf balls, FREE SUNSCREEN, and more. Free range chicken roaming the course, too, which may have been my favorite.

Course was fine. The redeeming quality of this course used to be the laid back clubhouse/ownership. That must have changed. We were kicked off the course while playing the 9th hole at 8:38pm. We had not seen the, "clearly posted sign." Local course with very unlocal customer service. Groundskeeper was cool; +1 star.

There are three golf courses in Greene county, Iowa and this is the overall nicest of those three. From the club house to the putting green, and the only driving range offered. Prices are reasonable for a 9- hole rural course like this one. But i might add that most of the greens are small and slightly crowned which makes it interesting on approach to keep the ball on them...LOL...
