Played 3rd May 24. Course was nice. Well maintained. Extremely hilly course. Scenery was nice also. People are friendly. Caddies were hardworking. Green was quite OK to read. Loved how I lost 12 balls though. Took some time to get there from Makati. Clubhouse was basic max. All course shelters were also just make shift spots selling drinks and snacks. Only 1 person tried to sell us used balls. Price is Ok-ish for the quality of the course. May come again!!!

The best public course near Metro Manila for me! Challenging layout, but the scenic views and well-maintained greens make it a great experience.

An excellent public golf course that is well maintained. You must take a cart and there are many elevation changes which makes the course challenging along with breath taking views all around. Price around Php3400 for non local.

The is a Private Course but open to Public. A very challenging course but also reasonable, when you make a good tee shot, you are rewarded. In some holes, the fairways are narrow and both sides are hazard which makes it difficult. I specially like the Par 3 Hole 6 in the Front 9, this hole have a very nice view. and the Par 4 Hole 7 is also nice and challenging. Reading the Greens speeds, the break makes it challenging. The Green Fee is reasonable.

Best public course near Metro Manila by far. Excellent, well-manicured tifton fairways, and a very interesting, hilly layout. Lots of elevation changes and doglegs. Plenty of breathtaking vistas. Maintenance is excellent for a public course and better than most private clubs. Some greens were being sanded but they were pretty good. Not too fast and unlike nearby Forest Hills Palmer, are not too undulating as to be too difficult for mid and high handicappers. Bring lots of balls. Once you exit the fairway your ball will go into the tall grass. The good thing about SV is that the fairways are wider than Forest Hills Palmer. Plus there is a local rule: if you end up in one of the gutters separating the fairway from the tall grass, you get a free drop. Smart move. Demerits are a somewhat austere clubhouse, and lousy and expensive food. The clubhouse was quite empty when we played. I'm also not crazy about the fact that they are not affiliated with the Unified National Handicap System, so you cannot submit a scorecard there. Bush league if you ask me. The location isn't great, but since there is some elevation, around 250-300 meters, early mornings and late afternoons will be pleasant. Despite the cons, Sun Valley Antipolo is such a good layout that you just have to play it. A gem of a course.
