I so love this course. It is a good but fun challenge. The course is beautiful. If I could I would play here everyday😍😍😍

Fairways are absolutely perfect. Pretty good layout of a course. Greens need to be much faster though. Lovely people and community. Great cart paths and service. Also outstanding recovery from the tornado occurrence 🙏.

Our weekly foursome has another option to consider as this week we enjoyed getting to know the Oakland City course. This trip stated off with a call to confirm things ….Central Time , no official tee times needed, food and drinks available and a very welcoming voice on the other end. Don’t expect a County Club vibe upon arriving as their focus is on hospitality and the golf course. We didn’t arrive in time to have breakfast but the extensive menu will get us here a little earlier next time …….great tenderloin and cheeseburger sandwiches for lunch …cold beer and a full back bar. Our server Kim is multi tasked and kept things moving and meet all our needs. The course is a nice 9 hole track……there is some trouble out there but would rate it as a forgiving course with beautiful and well maintained greens. We spoke with several staff members and their focus next year is the tee boxes which as they know get a lot of use. The fairways will need some over seeding as they can work into the budgets but with this years weather it’s been a challenge for many area courses. Put this property on your radar…….it’s a old school style course , nothing pretentious with a charming rural feel…..kind of a place you might just stop in and hang out awhile on any given day.
