I had the pleasure of playing this course last week and was pretty impressed with the condition of the tee boxes and fairways. The greens however have been mistreated by players not repairing divots....FIX YOUR DIVOTS and BALL MARKS!!!

Absolutely outstanding golf course! The layout is both challenging and enjoyable for all skill levels, with beautifully maintained fairways and greens. The staff is incredibly friendly and goes above and beyond to ensure a great experience. The scenery is breathtaking, making each hole a pleasure to play. From the well-stocked pro shop to the inviting clubhouse, everything is top-notch. I’ve played here multiple times, and it never disappoints. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a fantastic day of golf!

I have only been to the driving range in 2023. It's definitely not the nicest driving range around, but it's above average in my opinion. I've been to it often and no matter how busy the course was, there has always been an open bay..

It pains me to write this review as I really like this course. Last Monday September 15th I played at your course with my uncles. It was the first time I got to play with both of my uncles. One lives near Evansville and the other near Bloomington. I had booked the tee time a few weeks ago. I drove almost 2 hours to get to your course. We were excited to play there. We still had fun but every putting green was chewed up and had a plethora of dirt spots. There was no way to avoid bumps no matter where you putt on all 18 greens. Fairways were in great shape. Hopefully the course will be repaired by next spring. I could understand a few spots here and there for a public course but out of the 36 different indiana courses I have played this year, only rea park in terre haute was in worse shape. The following is my reply to the owner from country oaks replied to my original review above. Yes my uncles & I had a decent time at your course but I believe a 1 star review is the correct response. We received no notice from your staff when I called & made the tee time a few weeks ago. Plus as I mentioned above, only Rea park has worse putting greens in all 36 public courses that I played this year in the state of Indiana so if rain then heat was your excuse then that doesn’t explain why your putting greens were so much worse than all the other 30+ courses I have played this year. Plus there wasn’t even a discounted rate offer due to the quality of the course. Maybe you would get 2 stars had we gotten a discount or been told ahead of time by your staff what condition your greens were in. ****And people who read this, please do not believe what the person from country oaks said in their reply to my review. It’s not just a couple holes that have chewed up bumpy greens. There are spots on all 18 putting greens and it is so bad that the cups cannot be placed anywhere on those greens to where a putt can be attempted without hitting multiple bumps and dead spots. I had even called two weeks ahead of time to reserve tee time and asked when they were going to aerate their greens and there was no mention of any greens being dead or bumpy or chewed up. They could’ve at least been honest with me. I felt so bad like I was to blame for picking this course since I was the one who planned this out to play with my uncles. I have zero reason to lie about your putting greens. I get it, you want people to play your course so that you can make money. It doesn’t matter if full price gets you access to other things at your course. The actual course is the main reason people come there. You made tons of money off of my uncle over the years as he used to bring his granddaughter there all the time from evansville to play when she was in highschool. I wish I would have taken photos of all 18 putting greens since the owner will not be honest about it. 10/5/2025 Update, a friend and I just played rocky ridge in crawfordsville last week and valle vista in greenwood and smock 2 weeks ago in Indianapolis and all 3 of those public courses had beautiful putting greens. Not a bump or bad spot on them. Maybe country oaks should call them for tips & advice on how to take care of a golf course. God Bless

As a person who doesn’t enjoy the game of golf, this course goes above and beyond my expectations each and every time I visit. I am there quite frequently due to my family’s love for the game, and have come to find out how friendly the employees are!! I don’t have a lot of knowledge about golf to know if the course itself is challenging, but it is well-managed and clean every time I visit! I highly recommend if you are looking for a beautiful place to visit, and get treated excellently by the employees.🙂
