We had a family reunion recently. We had 1 extra player. we were told they didn’t have any more golf carts for us to use, they had to walk. The greens were in decent shape. Fairways were meh, the tee boxes were rough. The lady inside was very sweet. Doubt we’ll be back.

Played multiple times and always fun as a beginner. Course is a little run down but never complained. Today three of us were playing 9 having a great time losing balls. Mr. Truax who owns the course was in the group behind us. He came up to us on hole 3 and informed us 3 of us could not play out of 2 bags of clubs because it slows down play and would have to rent a set after hole 6 to finish to 9. I had forgot my clubs and was not informed before playing that that was a rule. I’d hate to inform Mr. Truax but another set of clubs doesn’t stop me from sending a ball 150 yards in the wrong direction. We were not slow due to lack of clubs we were slow due to lack of knowledge and skill at the sport which we are trying to learn. We made it clear we had no interest in doing that because no one else had to, and that we would happily leave. We then offered a play through so they could continue. The group in front of us and the group 3 behind us were playing out of the same bag so it was obvious he was just frustrated with having to slow his game down. We continued to play and voice our frustrations about them hitting balls within cart lengths of our carts and that hurt Mr. Truaxs feelings enough for him to get off his cart, get visibly angry, and raise his voice inches from my face. We offered to leave right away in this conversation. Asked him why he was yelling very calmly then he accused me of being drunk at 1pm. Won’t be returning after today. Mr. Truax has some serious little man syndrome.
