Beautiful venue and the food was amazing!!! The penne with chicken and Alfredo sauce was fire! Ideal for any large gala, special event, wedding, reception, etc.

There really is nothing I can say in a negative way about our experience having our Bridal Shower at Hawthorne. They say that one can never have all three - Quality, Service and Price. I have to say that with Hawthorne we had all three! I can't rave enough about every person we dealt with, being pleasant, kind and eager to do what they can to provide our wishes. Our food was a priority in that our Bride-to-be has an experienced pallet and the Buffet and Desserts came through to perfection. We asked for Creme Brulee' and Oysters Rockefeller and easily they said "yes", and they were wonderful!! Whitney was our Catering contact and she was always calm, listened and did whatever she could to make every detail what we discussed. She always responded by e-mail and met with me as often as I felt I needed. We are not Members of the Club, but we were treated as if we were. We looked at several Venues, and this one checked off all of the boxes. The atmosphere was pleasant feeling we had the place to ourselves. I had to write a review because we are so very happy and appreciative. We feel fortunate we chose Hawthorn for our Event!!

The place is nice to view. However, the communication and run around my husband and I received from Caitlyn manager of events was absolutely ridiculous! She kept telling me for days she would send over the contract, pictures and information for our vowel renewal. This never came, even after I went up there and saw her again in person to see what the issue might have been for not receiving the information (incorrect name spelling etc) .She said there was issues with her attachments and sending emails. So, she said she would send it from her personal email. Well, that never occurred. I left another voice message, text her and no response to ANYTHING at all even when I did an online inquiry initially no response. I am glad my husband and I had 2 other nice options, and picked one. I had read previous comments/reviews where Caitlyn did not return messages or respond. I had a friend that went up there in February for their wedding that I referred to inquire same non-communication nonsense we received, but it seems this has been an issue with others, maybe she is looking to service only certain clientele....really sad, but maybe it is to keep a certain look/appearance 🤔. The event manager we had in 2020 was great with communication, but now I don't know....

My fiancé and I attempted to tour the country club for our wedding next year, however the communication has been horrible. We had a tour scheduled the end of February however it was cancelled due to the coordinator, Caitlyn, traveling. I was understanding and replied back that we could reschedule for the following week on a Wednesday. We went to the venue that Wednesday and she was not there. We found an admin office and told the gentleman that we had a tour scheduled for a wedding. The man seemed annoyed that we were even speaking to him. As of today, I still have not received any response back from Caitlyn. Thankfully we have found a venue for our wedding next year. With potentially paying so much money, I expected to have better communication.
