Staff were very good at their jobs and were approachable. Course is a bit rough. Cart paths are bad. Greens were very good even after the heavy rain from last night. Bunkers were pretty good. Overall course has great potential with an interesting layout. Keeps you in every shot

This is a tough course. You will probably lose more balls than normal here. The conditions vary through the season: In the early Spring, it can be wet -- too wet in some places. There places that don't drain well after a big rain. In the late Spring and early summer, it can be beautiful: lush fairways; Smooth greens; challenging roughs In late summer, it can be terrible - inconsistent fairways and greens; torn up tee boxes; hard and dry areas; over-fertilzed spots. The cart paths are rather lousy - crumbling asphalt in most places. But they seem to be putting in new concrete paths in many places. Having said that, it is a very nice course in early summer. IMHO, there are 5'ish courses in and around Fort Wayne that are better, a couple that are about the same, and 20'ish that aren't this good. The clubhouse is nice, as is the staff. Tee times are mandatory, as are the riding carts.

Course is beautiful, that's where the good things end. Pace of play is awful, we were in a group of 5, keeping up with these slow middle aged men in front, they were super slow, the ranger, middle aged older skinny guy said that we had to split up, yet he did not say anything to the older group, I get it if you are going to enforce pace of play, but in order to do that you need to let every group know, especially the group that is HOLDING UP PACE OF PLAY. we would complete a whole hole and those older gentlemen are still on the tee box, waiting for God knows what. No one in front. Maybe space your tee times out more generously instead of every 4 minutes. Oh, and for $54 you would think the cart path would be better maintained, 3rd world countries have less potholes than this course. Driving through a corn field is the same as riding on these paths.

What a wonderful course. Well kept, clean, fun. We will definitely be coming back. Staff was very friendly, could not have asked for a better afternoon.
