Whitetail Ridge has a really interesting course layout and is a joy to play. Each hole has a challenging layout, with a variety of water, sand, grass and tree hazards to ruin your day. The pastoral setting makes this course attractive, and while it's located in a neighborhood, homes are not on top of the course as in other places. Although the fairways and tees were showing significant signs of blight in areas, it can be common this time of year. The course is very well maintained, on par with the best in the Chicago suburbs. The restaurant staff was attentive, and the practice facility is excellent. Why not a 5 star rating? Dynamic pricing model is in effect here, and I'm not a fan of it. Prices can spike much higher than I'm willing to pay. Whitetail Ridge is a favorite course of mine, if the price is right. I recommend it.

As a luxury wedding photographer, this country club nestled in rural rolling hills of Yorkville, IL is pure magic—especially if you’re dreaming of fall colors or golden-hour sunsets! Stunning white picket fences line the property and grand oak trees provide the most gorgeous shade for photos (especially on those scorching summer days), and every corner of the property feels like it was made for swoon-worthy portraits. One of my favorite perks? They give you golf carts to zip around to all the perfect photo spots—yes, it’s basically a photographer’s dream joyride. The venue's coordinators are incredible too, helping guide us to the best locations and making sure the day flows smoothly. Between the scenic landscapes, fun golf-cart adventures, and friendly, helpful staff, this venue is endlessly photogenic and an absolute joy to work at! -Mikayla + Capture the Canvas Photography, INC

We cannot say enough amazing things about Whitetail Ridge and their entire team! From the very beginning, Ashley, Tue, and the entire staff went above and beyond to make our wedding day absolutely perfect. They were professional, attentive, organized, and truly cared about making our vision come to life. The venue itself was breathtaking, but what made it even more special was the incredible team behind it. They helped everything run so smoothly, made us feel completely taken care of, and allowed us to fully enjoy every moment of our day. Our guests continue to rave about how beautiful the venue was and how amazing the entire experience felt. Great venue and amazing staff. The location is gorgeous! Had so much fun being apart of the 2026 Bridal Show. They always put on a great event. Thank you for letting me be apart of it!
