Don't go unless you enjoy being harassed by employees, forced to skip holes and not play a real game because they over book their tee times and then get rude with you even though youre a paying customer. There are many other respectable courses in mchenry county. Id avoid this one.

9 holes only. Decently priced. Super friendly staff. Greens and tees are very well taken care of. After a large rain fall there are a few spots with standing water but for the most part the course is good to go. We come here at least once a month and enjoy nature.

My daughter and went golfing at Craig Woods and the experience was less that favorable. Not only does one of their tee boxes now have power lines in the way of your drive, but they have a temporary green on the fairway. This green is a joke, you can't even put on it. And you get charged full price for the honor. I would avoid this place.

Staff told us that there were people behind us on carts at the first hole, it was the start of our tee time, so we need to hurry and then followed us on his cart for the first 5 holes. There are many other well-run and respectful golf courses in McHenry County. Based on my experience, I would avoid this one.

This golf course is cooked due to the construction in the area. They’ve lost holes and parking spots, and the one employee there is a jerk.
