This golf course is one of our favorites! It has beautiful views, and a nice variety of challenging holes. We had a membership there this year and made good use of the driving range, 2 practice holes, and putting/ chipping areas. McChesney's Pub is the perfect stop after playing a round. A solid menu with week day specials, friendly staff, and outstanding views of the course. Highly recommended!

I'm an out of state resident visiting friends in the area. Course is a great, links style layout, well maintained and plays fair. Four-hour round on a Sunday morning. Rental clubs were Callaway, high quality throughout the bag. Can't wait to play again.

A top-shelf links-style golf course. It's in excellent condition for mid-season. Pro shop, starter, bar/cart staff, and marshall all friendly and on-the-job. Pace of play was fine for a mid-week afternoon, but by no means fast. Conditions of the course were very good for the amount of play it seems to get. Tee boxes not hacked up, fairways and greens all in excellent condition. Golf carts were better than average. The practice area and the driving range were fantastic. Check out the full length practice holes and chipping area pre-game. I had tacos with chips and salsa, and a margarita on their Taco Tuesday promo in the bar/restaurant. Delicious. Overall, it is one of the best public courses in the Western suburbs of Chicagoland. Enjoy your round!

Prairie Landing is definitely a standout course in the greater Chicagoland area. The conditions are consistently top-notch, with beautifully maintained fairways and true greens that make every round feel premium. The layout offers a solid mix of difficulty and fun. If it’s breezy, swing easy! What really elevates the experience is the service, especially my interactions with golf operations manager, Brian. He consistently goes above and beyond—always professional, approachable, and genuinely invested in making sure every visit is a great one. It’s clear he takes pride in the course and the people who play it, and that kind of leadership makes a noticeable difference.

Long overdue review as I was going through pictures of this course on my phone. For the price, it’s hard to find a better value. It’s not overly challenging, but definitely not easy either (looking at you, hole 12). Overall, it’s always a great time. Brian is always super accommodating and makes sure we’re taken care of every time we play.
