The Rail Golf Course is a championship-level venue known for hosting past LPGA events and offering a strong, tournament-ready test. Fairways are wide but require good angles into well-guarded greens. Water hazards and bunkering demand strategic thinking. Greens are consistently fast and smooth. It's one of central Illinois' premier golf experiences.

Robert with Brooktree Studios here! I am a wedding photographer and have shot quite a few weddings here at The Rail Golf Course and I always have such a great experience! The staff is kind and knowledgeable, the venue is gorgeous, and there are lots of photo taking opportunities around the grounds (make sure to ask for a golf cart though!) If you are planning a wedding and want a place that will make you and your guests comfortable and well taken care of, look no further!

A really nice place to golf. Greens and fairways are always well kept. My dad and I play here almost weekly throughout the year with some friends. Have never had a bad experience.

This is an absolutely beautiful course in Springfield, IL. We visited in late March and the course condition was amazing. It hosted an LPGA event for almost 40 years. Great fairways, large greens and amazing tee boxes. Definitely worth a visit.
