Friendly staff greeted us at check in. The marshals are really helpful. The course is in really good shape. The only minor gripe is that the greens seemed a hair inconsistent. Some were slower than others. But it’s not enough to ding a star. Great course and we’ll be back again.

Staff was polite, and the course was immaculate considering the time of year. Definitely will be back out when it's prime.

Unfortunately just had my worst golf experience at this course. From the second we teed off, the rangers were harassing us about picking up the pace. It was four of us playing a scramble, and I can confidently say we were playing fast. On the front 9, we had a ranger stop by or even watch us play on 5 of the holes. The final time, the ranger said he confused our tee time and realized we were actually ahead of pace. While on the 14th green, an old man walked about 200 yards to us to angrily say we drove the golf cart too close to the green and threatened to ask all of us to leave if we did it again. I was stunned by the hostility of this guy, especially because we did nothing wrong. The way he said it, you’d think we were doing donuts on the green and shotgunning beers. I play golf regularly in the area and this was the worst experience I’ve ever had. We did nothing wrong, played with proper etiquette, and were consistently harassed. We mentioned all of this to the workers in the clubhouse afterwards, and they did not react or seem to care. The course layout and conditions were great, but unfortunately I will never be back to this place and recommend against it for anyone else. We each paid $80 for a round with a cart, so that was a tough pill to swallow given this terrible experience.

Course was in fantastic shape and considering the tough spring we have had I was really impressed. PH is such a fun and challenging course.

They won’t book single players. And will cancel your tee time for no reason last minute.
