Food was amazing, staff was so kind, helpful and a pleasure to get to know! If you are having an event check them out. Easy to work with, very responsive to messages, did an amazing job with tables and food was top notch! Grounds were beautiful and very clean! Thank you Shagbark for making our event the best!!

Shagbark Golf and Country Club is the perfect place for golfing. The owner is friendly, and the service is excellent. This golf course has great prices as well, because the 9 holes match is $18. The owner told us that we could use the pull carts at no extra cost, and they even offer a discount for high school golf players. The golf course is well maintained, quiet, and clean. I recommend golfing here if you live in the Iroquois County area.

The course is very well kept and challenging to play. I was in the area for a couple months and played there many times. However the owner is very rude and almost seems as though he doesn’t want the business. Today I showed up for a tee time, which I had made with him, and he tells me it will be another hour because they had a tournament going on. The least he could have done was give me a phone call before I drove the 12 miles to get there. He has no customer service skills and this was not the first time I had conflicts with him. Tells me one thing on the phone and then I get there and he is very obnoxious and rude! I will not be playing at his course again. Beware!!

Excellent place to hold an event! Staff was easy to work with and they are very accommodating. Clean and up to date. Very nice! Thank you Shagbark!
