Sanctuary Golf Course features a peaceful natural setting with wetlands, native grasses, and wooded sections shaping the layout. Many holes require strategic navigation due to water hazards and forced carries. Greens are large and thoughtfully designed, rewarding golfers who place the ball well. The routing combines challenge with aesthetic beauty. It's a scenic, modern public course with plenty of variety.

Very nice open course. Not a lot of trees but Fescue is thick. If you can keep it in the fairways, you’ll be in great shape.

This is a nice link style course. The course is kept in nice condition and it is a challenge for all levels of play

For mid-March in IL for the greens to roll as nicely as they did, I was impressed. It began snowing on my 12th Hole! Also, the bunkers were immaculate, which is unheard of for this time of year. Fun, challenging course with good routing. Excellent customer service in the pro-shop and snack bar.

It's a great course but the grass is a little on the thick side but I love it.

Finally moved back to Illinois after years away and picked up golf again. Played two Team Layla's at Sanctuary and some golf in between and always sliced. I booked a 30 minute lesson with Kevin Davis and he had me hitting straight in about 3 minutes. We spent the rest of the lesson refining and preventing the same mistakes and now I cannot wait to play a round again. Thank you Kevin Davis!
