We came for an afternoon round of golf. It was a weekend, but pace of play should NEVER be this slow. It was a 20 minute delayed start and then a 3 hour round for just 9 holes. A group of 6 was a couple groups ahead of us and that was allowed. The course is in good shape and the people working there are nice. I just cannot enjoy 9 holes knowing I was there almost 3.5 hours. I asked the Marshall after the round and he said they on do 8 minutes between tee times and long rounds are normal. I will never play a weekend there again.

Love the course. Tough to play when it is really busy because it can take you more than four hours. We couldn’t get a cart last time but it’s challenging and good if you’re getting back out there for the first time in a bit. Give them a try.

The course here is a lot of fun but really disappointed by interactions in the clubhouse. Waited in the shop for 5 minutes while a guy sat on his computer before someone else came in to check us in. Really wanted to include my wife and son and were told it was dangerous for my 1 year old to be in the stroller on course and got parenting advice from a kid in the shop. “Are you sure you want to do this?” He asked. Said that it was unsafe to put my child in that situation. Was honestly one of the more shocking things I’ve ever seen at a golf course… probably second to them charging a 5$ fee for my stroller… for “liability” reasons but only charged for one trail fee even though there were 2 people (wife and son) so it had nothing to do with liability. We tee’d off and as we were walking down the 1st fairway they told us that someone was added to our group…just felt like we were being punk’d the entire time. We got rained out on hole 6… but the holes we did see seem like fun and I was impressed with how the course drained with all of the rain we’ve gotten recently. Pace was also not an issue for us. If there is a way to check in without going into the pro shop - I’d love to come back.

This is not the first time I have had to drive off this course but it's the last. First time my parents from out of town rented clubs. When we finished the round after almost 5 hours for 9 holes they couldn't get their credit card because the club house was locked and there was nobody anywhere to receive carts. They had to cancel the card as stolen because the entire staff left the course while we were finishing. Today we tried to give them another chance as we have played here for years as our a local course. As 2 players, we left after 6 holes because we were at almost 4 hours. When we tried to go to the club house to complain there was another angry golfer who wanted to give feedback about the same issue but the club house was locked. As a local who has played this as the home course for years I'm speechless at the decline and the disregard for pace of play. I cannot recommend going to a distant course enough.

2hr 45 min 9 hole round on a Sunday morning. Unacceptable. Course was meh. I would maybe consider playing this on a weekday when I know it’s wide open, but stacking eight minute teetimes on a Sunday morning is absolutely atrocious. I will not be coming back.
