This is such a beautiful course for all levels of golfers! The check in process is very smooth and the staff is super nice! They helped me with everything I needed. I started on the practice range and then played 9 holes and each one was just the right balance of challenge and fun. I’m excited to go there again soon!

Unlike most courses in the area that worked around a square footprint, Whisper is a design gem with every detail being intentional. Each hole is isolated which means balls aren't flying all over the place from golfers playing other holes. The course offers challenges for every skill level (beware of the infamous #8!). The conditions have been awesome lately, sans a couple of bunkers that are ground under repair. Overall this place is my favorite course. And please, if you do play Whisper Creek, don't be a slow poke!

Wonderful track to play on in McHenry County. One of the longest courses in the area with a 7,100+ yardage from the tips. Definitely a course worth checking out if you are looking for a challenge. New owners seem to be actively working on improvements to the sand traps. Very friendly staff and the course has brand new golf carts with GPS.

Whisper Creek has really impressed me. The course is long and challenging but super fun, every hole keeps you on your toes! It’s in great shape right now, and you can tell the new ownership is putting a lot of effort into making improvements. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier; they made our outing feel easy and enjoyable from start to finish. Between the layout, the conditions, and the overall vibe, this is definitely one of the best golf spots around Huntley. I’ll be coming back for sure.

Finally got to play whisper creek over the weekend! The fairways and greens are in great shape even with being in the tail end of the season. Course layout is great for all levels with fun and challenging holes. Staff is super friendly and accommodating as well. Definitely worth checking out before the end of the season!
