Course is in poor shape. Fairways were not cut. Greens had been aerated. Rough is quite high. Pace of play on Friday was slow (2.5 hours for 9). I am not sure why this FP course is not as well maintained as others. Play someplace else unless you want to drink and party for 3 hours at a long, boring course.

Good 9 hole golf course with friendly pro shop manager. No bunkers, few water features, great for beginners and those who don't want to snap clubs once a ball is lost.

Long 9 hole Forest Preserve golf course. Flat, no sand traps, little water. Not an interesting course to play.

I and my foursome have spent the last 28 years playing at Meadowlark. My fellow golfers just commented this past weekend that the greens were never in better shape and the course in general is very well maintained! Additionally, the staff is always very considerate and helpful, not to mention just positive to be there! Hopefully we'll last another 28 years!!🏌‍♂️🏌‍♀️🏌😃

This is one of my regular courses for the season because of the length of the 9 holes. It's pretty decently maintained for a municipal but not a lot of challenge to it. No sand traps and just a small pond that is maybe a factor on hole 2 and 6. I typically only have time for 9 with life being what it is. That said, if you're going on a weekend day, plan on roughly 3 hours to get through 9 due to a lot of newer players and sometimes families.
