Village Links Glen Ellyn 18 hole course is an excellent track. Well maintained, with sand bunkers especially nice to hit from when necessary. Pace of play was a bit slower than I'd expected, at 4 hours and 55 minuted on a mid-day Friday in August. Fairways and tee boxes both show evidence of heavy play. Greens pock marked but roll true. Maintenance team should be applauded for their efforts to keep the course in good shape. That said, some parts of fairways did have thin regions. Don't purchase the turkey sandwich at the halfway house. Embarrassingly thin on meat and bread was dry. Other players had hot dogs and enjoyed them. Staff was friendly and on-task. Course marshall was monitoring pace of play, but when it is this crowded it's going to be a slow round. Course design is very interesting, and better than most public courses in the area. Easily walkable for those who like to do so. Plenty of water, sand, and tree hazards to keep you focused. #18 hole design is a real treat. GPS on carts was decent, but didn't show flag location like some systems do these days. Practice facility is quite large and was well used when we were there. VLGE also has a 9 hole course option. Parking can be a challenge when it's crowded, so give yourself an extra 5-10 minutes before tee time to drop your clubs and park/walk back to clubhouse. I recommend this course and facility. Enjoy your round of golf!

Love this course! Easy is register, grabbed our cart and off we went. Well cared for grounds with beautiful trees/landscaping. Reserve 22 is a great place to linger after-:) Love their food!

The golf course is in the best condition that I've seen in the 20 plus years that I've played at the Links. I believe there is a greed factor either in the Village or at the Links that is present. I know the golf course is and has been very profitable. Charging $9.00 for a small bucket of range balls and $20.00 for a half of golf cart is expensive. I believe Glen Ellyn/Village Links are better than this.

Our family has grown up enjoying the golf course and amenities for generations of The Village Links of Glen Ellyn. It all started with my Dad becoming friends with the well-renowned, PGA Professional, Ed Posh. My Dad and many golf friends had regular weekend tee times for years even before the clubhouse was built. Ed's youth golf lessons and tournaments as a youngster gave me endless enjoyment of the game of golf throughout my life. The golf pros, pro shop staff and banquet management personnel have been instrumental in creating many special celebratory events in my family's history. The seasonal chef menus and serving staff are outstanding to make your dining experience unforgettable and comfortable inside the restaurant or outside on the patio. If you're looking for a high quality golf facility with practice amenities and an equally enjoyable restaurant in a friendly community atmosphere, make a tee time and restaurant reservation at the Village Links of Glen Ellyn!

Great course. I just wish they would work on improving the speed of service in the restaurant. I would love to stay and have a drink after playing but my husband won’t because every time we have the service has been soooooo sloooow!
