Nice spot for a decent price to get some golf in. The course is in good shape too.

I was here for a private event and the food was amazing, but when I asked the bar tenders if they have moscato wine (specifically) they said yes, then proceeded to pour Pinot Grigio. Which those who know wine, these are not the same. They charged me for “Moscato” but that is not what was poured. I just wish they had more experience behind the bar, because I would’ve ordered something else. I like sweet wines, that’s why I asked before ordering, but Pinot Grigio is more dry and was hard to finish.

Is this the best golf course in America? No. Does this course know who they are? Yes. Is that a bad thing? No. Reasonably priced, interesting design, and pretty fast play, this is my go-to public course in Chicago. Staff is always friendly and the halfway house/bar may have the best chicken salad sandwich in Chicago.

The husband and I stopped by for a quick driving range session. It was very nice. The ball buckets were reasonably priced. The ball dispensing machine was a little wonky that day. Hopefully they get that fixed soon.

The course is called Coyote Run because you’ll have to run like a coyote from the ranger. Because of Jeff, you’ll never catch me here again.
