Very fun course and in great shape. Rolling hills and a lot of elevation changes. Dont even think about about walking. Front 9 has a lot of tight fairways with ravines and trees along the edges. Back nine is more open but still challenging. Loved it and I will go back!

Our men's league played here a week ago from Chicago definitely a great course tough-as-nails from the forward tees or the back tees I'm sure! If you're in the Peoria Illinois area you definitely want to put this on your list to play before you go back home you will not be disappointed Price is Right it has a restaurant, driving range, and it definitely nice golf course.

Okay first off let's talk about the course. It is unbelievably beautiful and very well maintained. I felt like I was playing in Jurassic Park. It was exceptionally beautiful. The fairways were so nice that your ball would roll out for days with your drives. The greens weren't PGA fast but they were fast and they rolled as true as a green can roll. I'm from Tennessee and that course is over 7 hours away. I played deer run in Iowa while I was staying in Illinois and I played it a month before the John Deere classic so it was in the top shape. I genuinely enjoyed coyote Creek quite a bit more than I did deer run. Let's talk about the employees. There was a gentleman there named Greg or or Gary. His first letter of his name started with g. I called him around 4:40 and asked if I would be able to come out and play before the sun went down. For context in my state if you call at 5:00 or 5:30 the cards are supposed to be back in by 8:30 or 8:45, they will basically tell you they are closed just so they don't have to stay there later. They're also some of the rudest pro shop people I've ever met. This place was the complete opposite. This man let me show up at 5:30 and t off around 5:40 and play 18 holes while waiting on me to finish to go home and get off work. I believe normally it's about $60 for a cart in 18 which is just mind-blowing to me. And when I went after 2:00 they had the Twilight rate which would I think was about 30 bucks. If you are staying out that way and looking for a good golf course then please God play this. If you're a very high handicap then keep in mind that it is going to be kind of difficult. I had a few pretty dismal holes but it was very hard to stay upset with the views and the condition of the course. Thank you to Greg or Gary in the pro shop. That was very considerate and very kind of you to allow me to do that. I appreciate you staying later so I could have that experience before driving back home. I will be driving back to Illinois and staying there specifically so I can play this course one more time.

Wold give zero stars if I could wanted to do a best ball with 6 guys would not let us out with six said 3 was the max seen multiple 5 somes out on the course response I got was they have permission so if your local and a member i guess you can do whatever you want would never golf here again!!!
