A bit of a pain to get on base but not bad. We had to get a visitor pass for my friend which included a photo and fingerprints. 10 min process. Course is 5 minutes from front gate. Pretty nice pro shop and grill. 64$ for two of us with a cart which was awesome. Had the place to ourselves. Fun course. Not much water but some sand and desert. Two long back to back par 5s. Fairways were good. Greens were really nice. Challenging but not punishing. They've cleared out the sage from inside the course so if you go off the path you've usually got a shot. I'll be back for sure! 9/22/2023 Update: 15 minute process to get on base. Staff were fantastic. I had two visitors go with me and we were in and out in 20 minutes. For a Friday with decent weather we had an absolute blast. Great course, great people. The food at "hackers" lol was great. If I had one complaint it would be whoever bags the fairway lawns needs to empty his bag sooner!

What a great course! Greens are in incredible shape and challenging. Our group of 18 will definitely be back.

Our group (Dew Sweepers; about 18 players) played an event at The Silver Sage Golf on the Mountain Home Air Force Base Course this past Saturday. The golf course was in incredible shape and the greens were some of the best I’ve played in the Treasure Valley. The Head Pro and staff were engaged, friendly, and accommodating to our group and made our day immensely enjoyable. It’s a drive to get there, but if you have the desire to play a top notch course and be treated great make sure you take advantage of this course. Our whole group is already making plans to go back.

Amazing staff course and pro shop. The raffles and events are so much fun. I won't a set of irons and more. Love coming to this place all the time.

Extremely difficult to go through the check in at the gate which took at least an hour. Upon arriving at the pro shop it was literally chained and paddlelocked shut. Finally the "pro" arrived and checking in our carts were dirty, the outside grounds were dirty with debris all about. My group and i will never return. The wing commander needs to pay attention to what his base looks like. He should be ashamed. Our airman and the families deserve better.
