Excellent golf course, great food and a very friendly staff! Highly recommend this track!

Great course, though it seems the prices here have increased faster over the last year or two than other places in the area. The course is in ok shape but you'd expect more for the price. Pace of play can sometimes be an issue, they really shouldn't allow anyone to walk unless it's a slow time, we had 2-3 groups backed up because of a group that was walking on a Saturday afternoon. the course is just too large and hilly for walking.

Course was beautiful and absolutely challenging. Went there for a work gathering. It was everyone’s first time playing the course. 12 of us total split up in groups. We had the green Marshall following us and timings for 5 holes total. We were told that we should be playing 13 minutes a hole. We did the math and we were at 15 minutes a hole as a pace. We stopped after the 9th hole to use the bathroom. Barely through the door and one of the workers told us we needed to hurry up. One of my friends said sorry it’s taking us a minute to read the greens, his response was “read faster. Also saw the dude checking when each of us came out of the bathroom and glared at me for getting a drink. Really ruined our experience with how rushed and rude we were. Please keep in mind that we had two teams of 4 behind us and both said they never had to wait on a single hole to tee off.

I had the opportunity to play one course while in Boise. Decided on Shadow Valley. Zero houses on the course (except for a few up on the hillside). I preferred the front nine over the back…… though the back did have a few really cool holes. Course was in good shape for mid July. Guy at the pro shop was about as nice and helpful as you could ask for. Really went over and beyond to explain the course. If you get a chance….. make sure you play here. You will not regret it. Lots of elevation on the front. Back was a bit more on flat side. Price point was great ($70 for green fee, cart and logo ball) for a top notch course. Thank you.

We booked multiple tee times back to back for father's day. Every group was approached on the back nine by this jerk named Kevin. He stated to each group that they needed the carts because they were out of carts. We were unsure how that was our problem it seemed to us that they overbooked and were short on carts. Every cart we were using had 2 people in them. He was extremely rude and could have approached the issue in a completely different way. We were not slow we were not rude or crazy, Kevin even attempted to remove some groups bags off of the cart before the round was over. I have never witnessed anything even approaching this kind of rudeness and believe me I have seen some things happen on golf courses. I love this course and the layout but this incident has definitely changed my mind about coming here in the future. He even had the audacity to tell us he didn't care about our money and he would have sold our tee times no mater what. We also had plans to go drink in the bar afterwards and spend even more money but we left and spent our money at another establishment. Good luck to anyone who golf's here if they have overbooked and are short on carts. You might be putting and look back and your bags are laying next to the cart path but your carts nowhere to be found.
