Played both the Beach Course and Kings’ Course at Waikoloa Beach Resort Golf and had a great experience. These courses deliver exactly what you imagine when you think of golf in Hawaii—spectacular ocean views, lava rock landscapes, swaying palms, and plenty of memorable holes. The scenery alone makes the round special. Both courses were fun to play, with a good mix of challenge and enjoyment for golfers of different skill levels. Conditions were solid, and there were several holes where you’ll want to stop and take in the view before hitting your shot. The only reason I’m giving it 4.5 instead of 5 stars is the price. It’s definitely on the expensive side, but that’s somewhat expected for a resort course in Hawaii. At the end of the day, you’re on vacation, and the experience, views, and atmosphere make it worth it.

I golfed the Beach 9 and Kings 9 yesterday. Absolutely beautiful. Green were cut well and rolled true. Shot a 78. I'm a 16 handicap so I'm a happy golfer. Photo is from our hotel room at the Waikoloa Hilton. I think the 6th hole. Par 5 dog-leg left. A very picturesque hole.

We played a round of 18 on Beach and Lakes. Beach was amazing and we saw whales in the distance. Lakes was beautiful as well and challenging with some nice trails and lava points of interest. We were able to rent clubs for both women and a left hander. My only feedback was that we only saw the beverage cart once but didn't take away from the experience. Especially once we realized they had a few bottles of water in the cart cooler! Had we known we wouldn't see the bev cart again, we may have purchased a couple more to put in the cooler for later. All in all, it was a fantastic experience and excellent course with great service all around!

I can not explain how great this experience was. The attitude from everyone here is so welcoming and for certain a bar raiser. The keeper (Bernie) at the driving range gave my son some advice on his swing. Afterward, he was spot-on with every swing.

Beach course has the best views, but the layout is kinda weird. The Lakes course is the most underrated and challenging. Great views. The course quality isn't the best, but the service is the best
