All things considered, it’s a solid golf course that’s fun to play. However, for the money, I’d have a hard time making it a stop on a 3-round trip. For same price as Wailea Emerald, it doesn’t compare. There is no one to wipe your clubs, the don’t drive you to the range, you hit off mats, range balls are not unlimited, etc.

Stayed here for a week and the only downside, which is beyond anyone’s control, were all the tiny ants crawling on the counters. Loved the friendly staff, the cleanliness, the pool and jacuzzi. Walkable distance from Whaler’s Village and the beach. Lovely view from the lanai and at nighttime you can see the sunset and some stars.

Probably the best VRBO we have rented so far. The condo was very clean, bright and for a 2 bedroom quite roomy with a nice lanai. The kitchen was well stocked with all the dishes and cooking utensils that you would need. Although we did not cook much it was nice to have a well supplied kitchen. The BBQ was also top of the line and well maintained. A good choice for a Maui vacation. The overall property was also well maintained and comfortable.

KAANAPALI ROYAL B303 Nice condo with big rooms and housekeepers that do a FANTASTIC job keeping the home clean. The kitchen is poorly stocked with only 7 dinner plates available, worn cookware that left flecks of non-stick coating on our food, and very sparse utensils. No rice cooker, wok, or slow cooker and this should be illegal in Hawaii. Oven, grill, range, toaster, and coffee maker worked just fine. Master suite’s bed was horribly hard and uncomfortable. Pool was cloudy and had a lot of organics in it. It’s clear they are not treating or cleaning it Friday-Sunday. It’s also super warm and feels too much like dirty bath water to be refreshing. There are some low-life locals living here that are drunk all day and live off the dole. They were unpleasant to be around at the pool and were rude to the two families with little kids using the pool at the same time as us. Condo community has strict rules that put a slight damper on your vacation. Especially if you have kids…

We stayed in L 101 with 4 people. This condo is roomy. Private. Well stocked with all you need. Clean. Beds are comfortable. Beautiful view of the golf course and flowers. Quick walk to whalers village and beach. Easy access. Love the keypad entry.
