The North Shore's Benchmark Championship Experience Turtle Bay's Arnold Palmer Course is the North Shore's most recognized championship layout — and it earns that standing. Designed in 1992 by Arnold Palmer and Ed Seay, the course stretches 7,199 yards across a property with remarkable historical depth: portions of this land were used as a military installation during World War II, with holes 15-18 once serving as an airstrip. Today, the layout surrounds the Punaho'olapa Marsh wetland preserve, home to endangered Hawaiian birds, and offers a contrasting front nine with links-style openness and a tighter, more forested back side. The par-3 17th, guarded by nine bunkers leading to a plateau green, is a signature moment. The Smartgolfcourses team visited the resort and checked out the pro shop, practice facilities, and first tee area. Ranked among Golf Digest's Top 100 Public Courses and host to both the LPGA and Champions Tour. The North Shore drive is worth every minute. #TurtleBay #ArnoldPalmer #OahuGolf #Smartgolfcourses

Expensive? Without a doubt. Worth the money? No question. Pro shop is nice, plenty of goodies you can't leave without (and I love the turtle marked Prov1x's). Prices in the pro shop were actually reasonable. The course drink was really good, but I won't give it away, just get one! This course has the best kept grass of any course I have ever played at. The views are amazing, the greens didn't even have a single ball mark left in them! It's almost as if the staff had someone follow each golfer to comb the grass and fix the divots!!! The staff was actually very friendly, think "high end", where you get your clubs loaded for you and strapped in, clubs cleaned when you are done and they even give you a nice cold wet towel. Yes, this is multiple steps above your average public course, you get what you pay for. Came here with a buddy, we play all over, he agrees that this place stands out amongst others, if I'm in Hawaii again, this is a must stop place!

Was a great day out conditions were excellent fairways were perfect. Greens were a bit slow, but true. Very friendly staff and great overall experience. The only tough part is to drive out there if you’re staying in Honolulu as traffic is always present so make sure you leave enough time.

Had such a great day golfing at the Palmer course on Turtle Bay. The entire family had a great time. Staff is extremely helpful and polite. The course was well kept. Snacks and drinks were available on the course. Located inside of Turtle Bay right before the resort.
