The location is so lovely. Quiet and secluded feeling but still close to towns to have anything you need. The mountains are beautiful, golf course is great. The resort restaurants were very good! Especially the dining room. The best part for me was the stables! So nice and the staff was exemplary! In fact the staff throughout the entire resort was just fabulous. Friendly and went out of their way to make our stay the best! We all want to go back.

We came to the stables for an hour horseback ride. The guide was wonderful and funny. The horses were great. Very well maintained and taken care of. And the staff at the stables were very nice and let us hang out with the horses after the ride. They were very eager to answer any questions we had. Absolutely recommend this place

I must start by saying we had a wonderful stay. But there were some issues. Which I went over already with the resort, so these are not tales being td out of school. There is some updating going on so there is construction noise (some of which began at 0730 on our last day). Only one elevator was working, there are only two. The outdoor hot tub was down and the indoor was working but no whirl, great heat though. The nens sauna was down, this was my biggest disappointment as I was looking forward to this amenity. Service was great with the exception of one night in the dining room, but fantastic outside of that incident. The staff was friendly and wonderful. We had an issue with our first room and they were quick to accommodate and move us. There were some maintenance and upkeep issues but they did not distract from our stay.

My wife booked us a room so we wouldn't have to drive after our fine dinning dinner. It was a two plus hour drive. When we arrived and checked in, we were informed that the restaurant was only serving buffet and that is not exactly my definition of fine dinning. The Grille was great but we could had a hamburger anywhere here near home with out the driving. Can't say I will recommend this to anyone and going back will not happen.

I recently stayed at this resort and wanted to give my honest opinion. I'm always traveling, but this was work related. Mrs. Hill at the front desk was welcoming, but it seemed as though the rest of the staff had to force courtesy. Moving on to the rooms, the first room that was given to me had a moldy smell. After advising the front desk, I was moved to another room, which was better. The shower appeared to be coming apart and the ceiling was beginning to mildew; there was no smell. Other than this, the room was fine. Lastly, the restaurant. The food was decent. The salad bar was fresh and the trout was a tad salty. The lobster mac-n-cheese was pretty good. The views were wonderful, given it's in the mountains. All and all, my stay was fine, nothing to make me return, but I always say, make your own decision.
