The Lakes Golf Course is tucked away in the woods, offering a peaceful, natural setting. Fairways were well maintained, and while the greens were sanded, that’s part of regular upkeep. Overall, a scenic and fair course with excellent value for money.

Played at The Lakes last week for the first time. Was pleasantly pleased with the conditions. Ivey the superintendent had the course in great condition and the greens were very fast and fair. The staff in the pro shop was very accommodating. Walt Eddings made us feel so welcomed and the course was so good that we played it again two days later. Highly recommend giving it a try.

My fraternity held a golf tournament here and everybody had an incredible time. The course was in great shape, the prices were affordable, and the staff was so welcoming.

The course is the nicest one I have found in the area. It was I good condition for the time of year and greens were great . The only complaint I have was how I was treated by the lady at check in. I don’t know if she was just having a bad day but she was very unfriendly. When I finished the man waiting for the carts was friendly as can be so it evened out the experience. I would definitely play it again

The course was in wonderful shape and the folks working today were pleasant as they could be. The reason for the 3 star review was the fivesome on the course on a Sunday that slowed folks down, the twosome who let NO ONE play through and hit mulligans on every hole. A round of golf that could have been enjoyed if a course marshal had been out and correcting these things would have been possible. We had 6 groups behind the fivesome and mulligan hitting twosome.
