Forest Heights began as a 9-hole George Cobb layout in 1947 and expanded to 18 in the early 1960s. Bob Cupp modernized green complexes and several holes in 1990, producing the current championship test. It plays in the mid-6,900s from the tips with a stout 74.2/135 rating/slope and MiniVerde Bermuda greens. Members benefit from a full driving range, putting and chipping greens, and a teaching center. The club is private and a longtime home for collegiate and amateur events in Statesboro.

Pro shop staff and everyone were friendly. Wonderful layout except the greens were aerated. Besides aeration, everything perfect. Shalom 🍾 🍾 🍾

I have been to this venue a bunch! Weddings, college events, proms & more each time has been amazing. The staff is friendly and the the view of the golf course is amazingly beautiful. If you are looking for a venue for your event or a nice country club this is a great option.

My grandfather was one of the co-founders of the great country club. A plaque celebrates his involvement. Members today remember the heritage and have honored him. The course was designed by George Cobb.

Beautiful layout and in great condition for the Schneckel Open. Had a lot of fun watching some great collegiate play. Would love to get on it sometime :)
