It's a traditional parkland layout with a premium on angles into subtly contoured greens and smart lay-ups around water. From the back tees it stretches to just under 6,900 yards and plays tougher than it looks thanks to steady breezes and raised targets. The course has seen periodic refinements to bunkers and green surrounds to keep conditioning high and strategy current.
