This golf course is nothing short of a travesty—a $52 rip-off disguised as a Sunday drive. Not a single green showed any sign of life. Every putting surface was so abysmal, it felt like driving on a golf-themed sand trap. And nowhere during booking or play did anyone mention the state of the grounds—this is what bait and switch looks like. Let me be blunt: whoever decides that these “greens” are acceptable should be ashamed—from the groundskeepers to the front desk staff. If you haven’t been embarrassed to operate in public, you might want to try it here. I nearly marched back to the cottage on hole two to demand a refund. That’s how spectacularly awful it was. Compare that to Henderson, which I played just hours earlier—the same morning—cheaper and dramatically better conditioned. That’s not a difference; it’s an indictment. This place isn’t “unique” or “rustic”; it’s substandard and deceptive. To label this course a bargain is not charity—it’s garbage. Bottom line: Do not squander your hard‑earned money here. Do not bother with their misleading rates. This course is a complete waste—a heartbreaking corral of overpriced despair. You’d get a better experience playing miniature golf in your backyard. Update hey southbridge do you want to refund me for the overcharge and misleading.

Thought I'd give this course another chance as when I played it 7 months ago, was the WORST I had ever played. I felt bad for the membership and people that live in that nice community. However, I thought, give it another chance. Boy, was I wrong!! It was in the same condition as last April with the ONLY improvement noticed, the tee-boxes (and they still weren't great, but better than before). The management keeps stating "we're working on it," and "be patient with us." How patient are we talking? You've had nearly 8 months to improve and you obviously aren't putting the money or time in it, to do so. Stop making excuses and fix it because it could really be a money-maker if it were run appropriately. I will not make the mistake of giving it another chance. EVERY other other course within a 30 mile radius is better than Southbridge, so don't waste your money here. You would have to pay ME to play again. PS- and NO!! I'm not going to "call the pro shop to discuss this further." Stop telling people to do that- nothing changes.

Staff was amazing. Layout is really cool and challenging. Plenty of tee boxes to choose from. Fairways are in excellent shape and the greens are recovering nicely. Get your tee times while you can because when this place reaches 100% it's going to be busy!

I’ve never played a course with worse greens. Billed at the front desk as “best in Savannah.” It couldn’t have been more the opposite. Came into town on my bachelor party, looking for solid course, it fell well short. The greens were borderline unplayable. Would not recommend this place for anyone.

My husband and I have golfed all over the world for years and have experienced all kinds of courses. Unfortunately, this course falls way short of what we expected. Architecturally, it’s a beautiful design. Unfortunately, it has not been maintained for quite some time. All the greens have very little grass which makes a putt go a completely different direction. Sand traps have grass growing in them. The tee boxes have no grass. The cart paths have broken concrete and holes. Leaves and debris on every hole and fairways. More than disappointing, will not be back.
