Fabulous venue, great food, accommodating staff. We'd definitely do it again!

A very professional & REAL staff! This is a true golf club & the establishment treats their members like humans not just a number or dollar sign! Also, they let you drink Whisky on the course! 10/10 recommendation for any golfer that is looking to join a true GOLF CLUB!

I played the Savannah Golf Club on 4/12/26. What a disapointment. Conditions were a 2 out of 10 at best. On four of the greens, we were unable to remove the pins without the entire cup coming out of the green. The outside staff was rude, and sat on golf carts watching us unload from the car, carry our bags to the cart area, and load them into a cart. When we asked which way the first tee was they pointed in the direction and looked at us like we were bothering them. If this place is a private club, then it's unlike any private club I have played. For what they charged us - $225.00 for 18 holes, I expected a decet golf course which this was not.

This Old Donald Ross Classic has been beautifuly renovated by Gil Hanse. Interestingly enough this is America's oldest Club established in 1794. What an absolute treat of an experience playing here was. Short golf course relatively speaking. Forgiving off the tee box for the most part and more daunting the closer you get to the greens which run pretty quickly. The berms are very unique, as well has the old cemetery that runs along a couple holes early in the round. late in the round you can see the Savannah skyline. This all makes for a terrific day and one special experience.

The Savannah Golf Club is simply outstanding! They recently hosted our Small Business Assistance Corporation's Annual Holiday Luncheon, and the entire event was a resounding success thanks to their 5-star service and commitment to excellence. From the moment we arrived, the festive atmosphere and beautiful decorations set the perfect tone for our holiday celebration. We cannot say enough about the professionalism, exceptional service, and remarkable attention to detail provided by Kenneth, and the entire staff. Their team's efficiency, courtesy, and readiness to assist throughout the event were truly impeccable. If you are looking for an exceptional, budget friendly venue for any corporate or large gathering, we highly recommend the Savannah Golf Club. Thank you for a truly memorable and stress-free event!
