I’ve decided to edit my review, as this is the most accessible golf course near me. The staff has been super kind ever since my first visit. This is a great course to simply get out and golf. The driving range is great too. I don’t give it five stars, as the course isn’t in the best shape. Some parts can be totally flooded at times after it rains, one of the tee boxes has mats on one of the holes, and the fairways and tee boxes are not in the best shapes on some of the holes. The layout for the course is a little problematic, as several holes lay side by side with little room for error, and can seem a little dangerous at times. The course can also get pretty backed up, and some guests have no regard for sticking to tee times. But I’ve noticed almost all other courses have this issue so it is just part of the game it seems. I also think the prices could be a little lower for the range balls and tee times. Other than that, I would recommend giving this course a try.

A group of us play here quite often (a minimum of two or three times a month). The course is fun and it what it is...Shorter, pretty wide open course. The one thing all of us always talk about is something that absolutely can be taken care of by the staff and they need to do it....Clean up the tee boxes. There are tons of broken/used tees on every single tee box. Staff simply needs to clean the tee boxes on a consistent basis. We are typically the first crew to tee off, so we know it is NOT accumulated tees from golfers throughout a day....We enjoy playing here and the staff is nice, but the crew does need to take a bit of pride by doing that one simple task....

I’ve played this course a few times with my husband and son. And we’ve had a blast every time! Yes, there are some muddy spots and the greens are in rough shape. It’s not a fancy course, but it’s such a cool use of space and the holes are just FUN to play. Every town should have an inexpensive public course built under power lines or on old landfills. Come to have fun, don’t have country club expectations, and definitely eat whatever Mr Brown is grilling at the turn!

It’s a great course for starters with no expectations. For the price to keep going up, you’d expect for the quality to get a little better, but the tee boxes are almost Unplayable. They are rock solid, can’t even get a tee in the ground.

If I could give it a zero star I would. For $50, it was the awful. The course is in bad shape (tee boxes and greens). Moreover, the starter (Lonnie I believe) was extremely rude and power tripping. He snapped at my group for us putting our bags on the cart. Told us we need to wait for carts to be pulled up when our full group arrives, although 4 empty carts were ready. But fair enough. When our 4th came, a cart was pulled up and we were waiting for the second cart. This is where it gets more problematic. Two people walk up and all of sudden are told to put their bags on the 4 carts that were there and sent out to hole 1. They weren’t told they couldn’t put their bag on the cart. They weren’t told they needed to wait for their cart to be pulled up. When I pointed this out, Lonnie became enraged and snapped at me. Telling me “Don’t tell me how to do my job.” All this to say, never ever going back. Much better way to spend $50 than this.
