The seaside course is truly an amazing test of golf. Especially when the elements are not perfect. I played it today January 20th, 2025 in a tournament setting and the pins were so difficult. But isn't that why we play golf, to have a good test? The seaside course in cool windy weather was definitely an amazing test of golf. Beautiful views, every hole seemed like it was a postcard. Got to give a course management everybody was so welcoming and did a great job. I truly look forward to Coming back and playing again. I’m not a “Good” player by any means and this course is definitely a shot makers course. It seems short on paper but you need to miss in the rights spots on the fairway. If you’re in the rough then you have no chance of sticking it on those extreme fast greens. Brent Keller was my caddie that day and he was very very helpful. And it was also nice that he was friendly and patient with me. He definitely made that experience better. I hope to be back soon!

Great course. Fast and firm. Absolute beautiful scenery. I prefer the views of Seaside over Plantation but you cannot go wrong with an early tee time at either.

If you live in Georgia, this is a must do weekend trip. Take your wife and kids, girlfriend… and stay at the Cloister. The service is top shelf & the experience is amazing. We drove in from Atlanta, when we arrived, I went over to the training facility and had a one on one session with a golf pro. It was well worth it. The property has a couple of restaurants and the island has some pretty nice restaurants as well. The golf course… great views & immaculate condition. Cant say it’s my favorite course, but it’s top 10 in Georgia, but the experience in itself top 5.
