Bob Cupp's Settindown Creek layout winds through hardwoods with the namesake creek coming into play on multiple holes, emphasizing precise placement over sheer power. The back-tee test is severe, with long par fours and exacting green complexes that reward trajectory control. Practice is a priority here, with a full range and modern teaching center supporting competitive programs. Winter overseeding keeps fairways vibrant, while bunkering frames sightlines without overwhelming strategy. The course's reputation in Georgia circles is for a stern but fair examination that scales well for members.

The maintenance at the golf course is inconsiderate to the local community around it. On a Sunday morning before 8am they decided to blow an empty parking lot. It is every weekend and unacceptable. I even called the GM and he did not bother to return my calls.

Fantastic as always, great shape, friendly staff, awesome pace of play. One of the best in the area!

I believe they are shutting down for a year to redo this place, but my experience on the old course was excellent. It is a challenging course, but the fairways and greens are impeccably maintained.
