Description

Mountain View is the championship test at Callaway Gardens, host to past PGA Tour events. Dick Wilson's design stretches past 7,000 yards with classic bunkering and elevated green sites. Recent restoration work by Tripp Davis refreshed the look while preserving Wilson's lines. It demands confident driving and precise mid iron play, especially on the par 4s. Resort level practice facilities and conditioning make it a favorite for golf getaways. It's a strong, fair par 72 with multiple heroic moments.

Great course...Greens were in great shape...The staff went above and beyond to make our day on the course fanstasic...Try the Bloody Mary's from the bar. They will definitely improve your handicap. (Kept loosing count on the back nine)😂😂😂

Love the course but why oh why aren’t they improving the greens! Just so hard to make putts out there

It was alot of fun. Not sure about the maintenance though. There were huge clups of grass clippings left on every fairway we played on Mountain view. It was 100% not the experience we were hoping for. It was still golf and alot of fun. I just felt like there was to much maintenance to be finished. Will 100% be back to give it another chance though.

Great course with excellent scenery and a somewhat challenging layout with deep bunkers protecting most greens. Pace of play was excellent even with a small lightning delay. Practice facilities were good as well with a mat range and a grass range as well as chipping and putting areas. Pro shop was well stocked and service was good.

Nice course. Front 9 very challenging, Back 9 eases up. Most greens are very small and they aren't friendly with pin placement, at least when i was there. most pins were within 2-3 feet of edge of green 😬 I did expect greens to be in better condition but weren't horrible. I would definitely play again for weekday price, would probably pass if i had to pay weekend rate. Very quiet and great scenery.
