The lady in the pro shop was super helpful and kind. The course is in great shape and the greens are rolling pure. This course definitely has some teeth to it off the tee. Overall, I had a great time playing this well groomed course! 10/10 will be back!

Great course, excellent greens nice layout. Challenging but not difficult for good golfers (of which I am not). Very pleasant people and staff. Cart paths are rough but no big deal.

I recently played a round at Bear Creek in Monroe. The course layout is challenging and fun, and I found the fairways and greens to be decently well-maintained. The main issue right now is the cart paths; a majority of them are beat to absolute hell. However, management is clearly working on it, as the new paths on the back nine were a joy to drive on. Just a heads-up: the course can be a bit of a maze to navigate, which isn't helped by the current renovations on hole 13. Since the scorecards don't reflect the temporary layout yet, it can be pretty confusing at first. I also saw comments saying there are no marshals, but that wasn't my experience. There was a starter and a marshal on the front nine this past weekend. While I didn't see them on the back, it was good to see staff out there. Once the renovations and paths are finished, this place will be in great shape. 3/5 6.5/10

Having to give 1 star gives this course to much credit. If you like to golf do not go here. Worst course I’ve ever been to. Horrible experience from beginning to end. Everybody is extremely rude and gives you “I’m better than you” attitude. Once on the course it gets even worse. Tee boxes are just same. My backyard has better grass than the fairways. Then the cart paths are a rougher ride than downtown Atlanta streets. There are literal whole bags of quickcrete lined along the cart paths. I wouldn’t recommend this course to my worst enemy.

What a dump. Cart paths will break your back. GPS geofencing in the carts will kill your cart even when you're on the cart path. Seems to be zero reinvestment in the course. Good ole boy network dominating the tee time sheet. My 9:30 didn't tee off until 10 because Zippy the pinhead starter kept squeezing groups in ahead of us. 5 hour round. Actually saw a group of 7 playing on a Sunday afternoon. Not a marshal in sight. I will say the greens were puttable and the staff was friendly. But that's not enough. I won't be going back anytime soon.
