We have played most of North Georgia Golf courses over the past 19 years. This course was in great shape, pleasant staff, but very difficult to say the least (Rating 140++) This is not a course for a beginner. Offers stunning views, hidden greens and sloping fairways.

Played here last Sunday (late May) with my son and had a great time. We were visiting in the Blue Ridge area and he drove up from Atlanta to join me, took him about 75 minutes to get here. The practice facility is excellent and it's included in the greens fees. Well stocked pro shop. The course itself is magnificent. Often you see courses that have been forced into the geography. Not here. Each hole takes advantage of the natural terrain to create undulating fairways and dramatic elevation changes. And the views are beautiful. Carts are a must and equipped with GPS. To top it off, everyone on staff we came in contact with was pleasant, helpful, and seemed genuinely glad to see us. The course was hard but fair with good size landing areas off the tee. The greens are huge and undulating. Be sure to take some time in the practice area to roll a few. This is a must play if you're in the area but I think it's worth the drive even if you're not. We had an amazing time at Old Toccoa Farm this past week. We stayed in one of the cottages on the golf course, which was comfortable, well-appointed, and offered beautiful views. The staff at the Tavern were incredibly kind and attentive, always going out of their way to ensure we were well taken care of. The food was excellent, and every meal was a pleasure. The golf starters, clubhouse team, and entire golf staff were exceptionally accommodating and welcoming. A special thank-you goes to Bob Mentzer, who spent a great deal of time with us sharing the many beautiful features of this magnificent property. From the accommodations to the dining and golf experience, everything exceeded our expectations. We will be back for sure.

Golf course is pretty good. The course was pretty dry. Its a shot maker course but the greens didnt hold so that was frustrating. Played the course twice. It was easier the second time. The lodgings are nice. The bed was pretty firm (too firm imo). There is only one restaurant andnit doesn't serve breakfast except for the weekends. The menu is a bit limited too if you would want to eat there multiple times during your stay.

One of the most beautiful golf resorts I've visited. Course looks more challenging than it is because of how short it plays. The elevation changes are great and it seems like every hole gets more gorgeous than the previous.
