A great challenging course that is fun to play. Great scenic views throughout the course. The greens are fast and firm. Inside the club house is a friendly staff and the Grill serves up daily specials cooked to order... The practice facilities are adequate.

Always enjoy playing here. The views from the elevated tee boxes are amazing and I love the variety of holes + how different the front and back 9s feel. Greens are SLICK. Get your practice time on the putting green or you'll definitely be 3 putting. The short par 4s force you to make a lot of risk-reward decisions - especially on the back. A good day off the tee will lead to some low scores. Most of the fairways are in very good condition, but there are a few places that are pretty washed out. The sloping hills combined with that Georgia clay can't be easy to manage. On a few holes this forces you to layup because the ball will roll 100 yards on that clay and into some tough spots. You won't really know it until you've played it once, so keep notes! You'll knock off at least 5 strokes the 2nd time through. If I'm being picky, there are a few holes that could use some tree trimming. Amenities are solid. Great clubhouse and restaurant. Driving range is decent (although mats only), and the putting green is nice. Would love some water coolers around the course during this summer heat though. Pace of play is always good in my experience and the course is walkable. Well worth the fee to play.

We come here a few times a week to play 9 in the evening. You will catch some really great sunsets if you play in the evening. The course is well maintained and there are some really interesting holes here. My only complaint is the greens. They are tough, but a fun challenge if you aren’t used to greens that roll. They also get tricky around the green because it gets muddy. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We have never had an issue with booking tee times. They have precautions for COVID-19 (required masks inside, thoroughly sanitize carts, pool noodles in hole, etc.). The pace of play is sometimes slow because there are a lot of beginners that come to this course. There are multiple putting/chipping areas by the driving range that are great to practice on while waiting for your tee time.

Expected better…. Maybe my expectations were too high, but simple basic management skills could convert a low budget, poor quality muni course into something special. The bunkers were full of sand, but had not been raked for weeks. The cups were not cut fresh this morning and appeared 3-4 day old, which is terrible for the wear and tear of foot traffic on the greens, but especially the daily players fighting rounded out cups and poor reception of good putts. No sprinkler heads ever visible, tells this turfgrass expert the drought season simply kills these greens and the whole course in general. Tee markers not moved this morning either, making teeing off an adventure to say the least….:good luck finding some grass to hit off of on every box. Speaking of which…..no screen box to throw used broken tees into, so they litter the whole box area. No trash cans or even one flower bed on any tee boxes. Without any 150 shrubs on the course at all…..maybe invest in a few gallons of paint and put red, white and blue stripes on the cart path? The pace of play would increase two fold. No beverage cart whatsoever cruising the property, huge loss of revenue and inconvenience to the players (plus pace of play on the turn issues). Bag drop made zero effort to pull my clubs, ask my group name or even ask to see my receipt for the round…..this the zero tipping attitude. Saw NOBODY working on the maintenance of the course then entire round…..are $12 an hour employees gone for Spring break? Greens were not mowed this morning either, and never saw a ranger pass our threesome one time. My Cobb County tax dollars could be way better spent with a simple management upgrade or invite some interested parties to a planning/brainstorming town hall style meeting. Great track if someone ran it properly, very unfortunate and sure that Hilton feels the exact same. Would have added photos, but could not find one worth wasting my time to take. Please do better. It is not even hot yet, cannot even imagine this track in July and August…..

Played yesterday. We got there plenty early to get warmed up. When we loaded up our cart, 5 minutes before our tee time, we were told that our tee time was delayed because they "snuck in" a twosome between our scheduled tee time and tee time before ours. Not sure why they think this is an acceptable business practice. KInd of annoying to make a tee time several days in advance, pay on line booking fee and then have a walk in 'snuck in' in front of you. Anyway, the greens were in good condition but very slow, the sand traps are overloaded with sand. Staff was very nice, the carts are new with decent GPS / yardages, the greens fees are not expensive so it is what it is.
