Enjoyed the day at Bowden Golf Course. Everyone was very friendly and helpful in the clubhouse. Would have given it a 5 but the Course fairways and cart paths have lots of ruts. Greens are in great shape for this time at your. Still a great day.

Great service!! I love the course! It’s a great workout if you are walking the greens! A word of caution The back 9 are steep if you attempt to walk the greens!! The greens are kept fairly decent. I’m grateful for the staff on hand they provide the service of keeping the greens decent and up to par. Great price. I was sad to hear about Mr Jim Hickman he was my instructor a while back and was a great at the game and had a very unique way of teaching the game that made you want to learn even more. He will be missed. Bowden is a great course. I always enjoy my visit at Bowden.

friendly, helpful staff. Greens were challenging and well maintained. Fairways were not plush. The price was right. The course closed at 6:30 p.m. That closure time was never relayed to us. They would not let us finish the 18th hole. All in all would probably play again.

Some greens have literally no grass. Putting on dirt. Tee boxes are 50/50 dirt vs grass. Over the 30 years that I have played here more often own, occasionally agree on the back nine might be oversaturated or whatever. It’s the worst I’ve seen it. If you just need to go smack a ball around it it’s fine, but if you’re looking for a reasonable track, this is not currently it. I’ll try it again in the fall.. I can’t imagine summer will be very forgiving to greens that don’t have grass in May.

The course has made pretty good improvement with its s greens and fairways, still quite a bit of work to go but considering how old this place is and where it's located, it's a diamond in the rough.
