Highland is a classic Donald Ross layout that leans on natural elevation and cunning green complexes rather than length. Narrow, rolling fairways funnel into crowned targets with run-offs that feed misses to chipping areas. Position is paramount, as approach angles and firm surrounds dictate par-saving deftness. The routing flows effortlessly across gentle hills, offering variety without feeling contrived. It's an old-school test where patience and precise wedges pay more dividends than swing speed.

Beautiful original Donald Ross golf course! The staff are always really nice, and the food has improved significantly over the past couple of years. They have a large pool, tennis courts, and a great clubhouse.

My wedding was here... It was over price for what we got.The chef was a little rude didn't want to listen to how I wanted the food but he pulled it off an after the guess ate ill say the first time they put the food away super early without asking the groom didn't get to eat. Lastly after telling them the alcohol to many times they gave out.An I had to request for the air to be cut on several times 5,000 dollars wasted!! 1 yr later I'm still upset

The course design is very fun. However, the greens took on a fungus and are completely shot. I feel bad for the kids playing the State Tournament there soon.
