Beautiful and quiet course nestled in the pines with a fun and well-designed layout. However, during our visit, all greens were temporary, which really affected the overall experience. It’s understandable that maintenance happens, but it was disappointing that there was no mention of this on the GolfNow app, where we booked our round. The official course website did have the notice, but third-party platforms should also reflect this kind of important information. Once the regular greens are back, this course will definitely be worth a return visit.

The state has spent some money on this park in the last several years. They have a brand new clubhouse. The course is in great shape and the lodge is newly updated. Truly a hidden gem.

The course is very nice to start. The facility is nice and it’s well maintained. However…. The customer service is absolute garbage. The lady at the front seemed to know nothing and was rude about the rates. Apparently if you booked online it’s $20 cheaper. So they clearly are charging older people who don’t book online more money. Elder abuse is not cool and they clearly don’t care. The carts are awful. The cart wouldn’t work for half of the course and we had to restart it in order to make it work. We went to the front and they claimed “they all do that” and moved on. Clearly they don’t care about the customer experience and need a massive overhaul on the customer service side. The gear shop had Amazon clothing for sale. I find that very demeaning as they pay nothing for this item of clothing and get so much profit. They don’t care about the golfers. They just want money. And I get it’s a business but come on, think about the people who are spending money with you. Best take away is book online if you want to save $20 per person (which is criminal) and try not to interact with the front desk people. And don’t call before to book, they won’t tell you any details about the experience; and will cost more

Great challenging course. Had a great guys golf outing. Thank you to Marsha and her staff. Look forward to playing again.

Very well-maintained State Course. Good for all levels of golfers. The fairways are big and the greens are fast. They have a nice driving range and putting and chipping area. The staff is always courteous and helpful. The clubhouse is small, but does serve a few sandwiches, hotdogs, candy and drinks. The clubhouse also has a few clothing items, shoes and golf accessories. This is a very enjoyable course.
