If you golf, Hartwell Golf Club is definitely where you want to be. These people are friendly, nice, and the prices are definitely affordable for the everyday person! The dress code is casual, which is an added bonus!!! They gave us a Valentine's Day deal that we coul not resist. My Fiance and I had a blast golfing, enjoying the scenery, and riding the golf cart. Golf carts are included with the regular golfing price. They even went as far to include a loaner ice cooler with ice to keep our beer cold. We bought the beer in their shop, which they have a wide variety to choose from, along with snacks. This is a very family friendly course. The restrooms are immaculate, another added benefit. The courses are well manicured and beautiful! There is a covered bridge.This was my first time golfing and Hartwell Golf Club went above and beyond to make it a wonderful first experience for me! Hartwell Golf Club is definitely where you want to be for golfing!

This is one of the most enjoyable places ive played at. I rated it 4 of 5 only because the cart paths are rough but they are working on them. Clubhouse staff and grounds crew very nice and polite. Look forward to going back in the fall the good lord willing.

This is a fun course to visit if you are looking for a very forgiving course. If you are learning to play golf, this is a great course to do so on. If you dont hit the ball straight, no worries, you can usually play it off other fairways to get you back on track. I strongly recommend keeping your club socks on while the cart is in motion due to the cart paths having more tree roots and broken asphalt or concrete than smooth surfaces that will beat your equipment to death. It is fairly cheap to play. Personally I feel they charge to much for what the under maintained course has to offer but its convenient to my home. I can say they started repairing some of the course in late 2025. That said, if they continue with repairs throuout the entire course over the next year or so, this will be a great course to play. The staff is friendly and the pro shop has a small selection of balls and accessories if you need to purchase before your game.

Relaxed course with cheap fees. The layout is a little odd with most of the tee boxes right behind the prior green, so confidence in your approach shot is required. Not much variety in hole shape, a couple small doglegs. But overall a great place to play.
